Business pressures are ever-increasing and the reality is that individual performance drives organisational performance.
The aim of this course is to develop the participant’s capability to manage and review staff performance consistently and effectively. They will learn how to set individual performance objectives which contribute to the wider organisational goals, and how to deal confidently and professionally with under- performance.
As a result of this training, participants will:
- Know the difference between formal and informal performance management approaches
- Be able to write measurable performance objectives and communicate expectations
- Have the skills and confidence to deliver constructive feedback in a range of contexts
- Gain strategies to effectively deal with poor performance and know how to prepare for a performance discussion
