Absence Management training helps managers to gain the necessary confidence and competence to effectively deal with those tricky issues that are often deemed HR’s responsibility.
The aim of this course is to help managers to recognise when absence triggers a company process and how to implement the process confidently, and in a legally compliant way.
As a result of this training, participants will:
- Be able to discuss absence issues with an employee informally, and formally.
- Recognise individual and team welfare needs and the risks involved in managing absence and welfare
- Understand the Equality Act and how to action the absence and welfare policy in a legally compliant way.
