Influencing may mean different things to different people. For some it represents persuasion or negotiation, for others it is about getting people to see their point of view or using their authority to get people to do something or change something. In reality it can be all of these things and more
Influencing is not just for people in charge, whatever our role all of us will from time to time need to use influencing skills in our work.
One of the most powerful ways to influence others is how we behave. As managers, the impact we have can be positive or negative, we need to be aware of our behaviour and the influence this has on those around us. This Influencing Skills course helps managers to consciously adapt their behaviour and approach to greater effect.
