Overview

Most people negotiate all the time, either subconsciously or consciously. Some find it easier than others, whether it is at work, home or in a role as a consumer.

Negotiation is recognised as an essential management skill; effective Negotiation Skills training provides you with the skills and knowledge to resolve situations and conflict by reaching a result both parties are satisfied with.

Course Aim

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to help participants recognise when and how to successfully negotiate with colleagues, clients and other third parties.

As a result of this training, participants will:

  • Identify their natural negotiation style and how to adapt this to greater effect
  • Be able to apply collaborative negotiation techniques to strengthen relationships and achieve better outcomes
  • Gain the interpersonal techniques required to gain a stronger position, anticipate potential objections and prepare responses
  • Create practical strategies for successful negotiation
