Report writing is an essential skill, yet one that is rarely taught. As a result many written communications fail to achieve the desired impact, and in some instances can do more harm than good.
This one-day course provides participants with the opportunity to develop some techniques and skills that can transform their written communication so they get better responses/outcomes. It also enables the sharing and embedding of best practice so that approaches are more consistent across the organisation.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:
- Define the purpose and objective of an report and determine what information should be integrated to meet stakeholder needs
- Structure a report using a range of formats
- Apply a range of report writing styles to ensure content is appropriate and credible
- Produce/refine a checklist to ensure the quality of reports produced
