The success of a company depends upon how well people flow between being personal performers to becoming managers and then leaders. This is often referred to as the leadership pipeline which can easily be clogged through ineffective management and leadership practice.

This insightful Introduction to Leadership course helps participants to explore what leadership means to them, how it is different to management and how they can start to develop core leadership behaviours and competence to come across in the right way and make the right impact. In simple terms, this course kick starts the transition of turning managers into leaders.

The aim of this Introduction to Leadership course is to enable participants to develop a greater understanding of the difference between management and leadership and learn the fundamentals of leadership.

As a result of this training, participants will:

  • Understand the difference between management and leadership and the importance of a balanced approach to maximise team potential
  • Profile their natural leadership style and understand the impact this has on your team
  • Be able to adapt their style to best meet the needs of individuals within your team
  • Learn how to be a positive leadership role model, deploying the right attitude and behaviours to inspire trust and confidence
